  Absolutely brilliant accommodation in beautiful surroundings with amazing view to sea. Very comfortable beds and great kitchen with everything you would need to cook in. Had excellent walks in Saltburn, Staithes, Runswick and Scaling Dam reservoir. Had fabulous meals- especially seafood- at The Tiger Inn and Cod and Lobster nearby. Everyone, everywhere was friendly and chatty! My mums dog, Chudley, loved his stay too- settled very quickly and loved all the pheasants and partridges in surrounding fields!!! Would highly recommend!!!

The cottage provided the perfect base for exploring the area, being so close to the coast and to the many fantastic beaches and coastal villages as well as the rest of the Moors and wider area.

Dawn had some excellent suggestions, and was a friendly and responsive host. It is the perfect place from which to explore the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, and the wonderful coastal towns and villages. Equally, it would be a delightful place just to spend a few days in a peaceful and beautiful location and not go anywhere at all!
